Needless to say we are NOT in India, but instead the good old USA. All of out Technicians are US Military Veterans, CompTIA Certified.
We most often recommend Web Root. This can be found at http://www.webroot.com.
Not only is it less expensive than everyone else, but it is comprehensive, performs live updates (constantly) and is the only Anti Virus / Internet Security Software that protects against the nasty “Bit-Locker” Virus.

Anti-virus Software to some extent depends on your PC, it’s age and Operating System. However the Anti-Virus that we recommend most is Web Root.

This Anti-Virus / Internet Security Software costs less than the others, uses less PC resources, provides automatic updates (absolutely essential) and most importantly, is the only Anti-Virus Software that protects against the “Bit-Locker” Virus (Very, very nasty).

To answer your question, we use Citrix. Citrix “Go To Assist” is the best and most expensive licensed “Remote Access” Software in the marketplace. It is expensive for us to use Citrix, but worth it for our customers. In addition to the security features of Citrix, the software gives us “Diagnostics” and the ability to transfer files and re-boot a computer without having to ask the customer to stay in place for the entire repair.
Our comprehensive repair and Optimization of a Computer often takes 2 hours to complete. I am sure if you had someone working on your car, you would want for them to be as comprehensive as possible. We feel the same way about every Computer repair which includes an Optimization, resulting in the Computer running better and faster than it did when you called us.
Be weary of anyone who uses “LogMeIn” or Team Viewer”, as they are free and easy for someone else to hack.
